The main goals for this brochure were to provide employees with easy to access information on volunteer opportunities and programs and to encourage employee participation in volunteer activities. Existing photography of actual volunteer activities was employed to save money and to give the brochure a “real life” feeling. It is very colorful with a diversity of images to appeal to the varied interests of employees. Pull quotes are used as content and graphic devices. A monotone screen of the Help the Homeless Walkathon is used as a background image to wrap around the front and back covers, because this is the largest volunteer effort sponsored by the Foundation. Winner of an APEX Award for Publication Excellence and a Silver Inkwell Award of Merit.
