Pathways Home: A Native Homeownership Guide
The goal of the curriculum is to increase the understanding of homebuying skills among Native families and communities. The cover has traditional Native American art combined with photos from eight success stories about Native families across the United States that have gone through the homebuying process. This curriculum was written on an 8th grade level with the larger font and simplistic illustrations, charts and exercises providing easy-to-follow workbooks for both the instructor and participant. For the instructor’s guide, a graphic of each participant’s page is shown adjacent to the corresponding information. This enables the instructor to know exactly what the participants see in their book, and therefore, is easier for the participant to follow. Winner of a Silver Inkwell Award of Merit. |
